This movement started by the European Business Schools/Women on Board Taskforce has grown to become a global initiative including leading business schools & professional organisations from around the world in an effort to identify & promote Senior Women Executives & Professionals who meet the strict criteria below, set forth by the world’s leading business schools & corporate governance professionals to create global & diverse corporate governance for the 21st century.

This group will provide executive search firms & those looking to make board appointments with a list of suitable board-qualified women for companies in Europe & the world. Women in the group will ensure that their profiles are kept current & companies & recruiters can easily search & identify those whose experience most closely match their requirements & contact them directly. We will also be posting best practices etc & engaging in appropriate group discussions.

Women on the list will be expected to have made a conscious commitment to assume the role & responsibility of corporate governance in a publicly quoted company. This criteria is to maintain a high standard of candidate for the list, & therefore to protect the reputation & use of the list within recruitment circles.

If you are not being recommended by one of the supporting business schools or organisations you will be required to submit your CV & the name & contact details of two referees who can vouch for your suitability to join the list – please email them to gbrw@fortefoundation.org
